What is Youth in Law
Youth in Law (YL) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in Rochester, Minnesota, to address the need for more opportunities for students to gain firsthand experience in public service careers. Our goal is to bridge this gap by facilitating personalized mentorship between students and local law professionals.
Our Mission
Our mission at the Youth in Law is to empower high school students to achieve their full potential by connecting them with mentors. We aim to provide students with unique opportunities to gain hands-on experience and exposure to different career paths, particularly in the fields of law and public service.
Through our mentorship program, we strive to inspire students to pursue their passions, develop their skills, and build meaningful relationships with experienced professionals. We believe that every student deserves the chance to explore their interests and build a foundation for future success, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Our ultimate goal is to create a community of lifelong learners who are committed to making a positive impact on the world. By providing access to knowledgeable and supportive mentors, we hope to foster a culture of excellence and service that will benefit both individuals and society as a whole.
Join us in our mission to empower the next generation of leaders and change-makers!
